Hi, everybody. Welcome to another edition of Talking Elite Fitness, Sean Woodland, Tommy Marquez,

Lauren Khalil, and Brian Friend here with you on a day that, man, that, to quote Ron Burgundy,

that escalated quickly.

I saw a guy with the Trident and Lauren had a hand grenade.

We thought that we're going to have a nice, easy, sort of relaxing day today and then

cabooy. That changed. So what we're going to do is usually we're a lot more organized with this

stuff and we have sort of a format of what we want to talk about and we have some notes. So obviously

we're going to talk about what happened earlier today with the announcement that Justin Berg is moving on from CrossFit and that

Dave Castro is coming in and the words that were used in, I think the email that was sent

was to lead the sport team. You're right? Sorry, just a bug flu in my face. Sorry. Just making sure nothing, I didn't need to be aware of anything

over there that I needed to duck and cover over here. So we're going to talk about that.

We're also going to, today we were supposed to run an interview that we actually had with

Justin Berg last week, Lauren, Brian, and Tommy sat down with Justin.

I got to listen to it because I was here. It was a fantastic conversation. You know, didn't

anticipate Justin not being around this week to, you know, and that obviously changes sort of

the calculus and running that interview,

but we are going to talk about some of the things that he talked about in there,

because I think it's worthwhile, shed some lights on some things. But just, I think first off,

and Tommy, I'll start with you. Like, what was your reaction when you found this out?

Well, I think my initial reaction was like, well, whoa, there were, what, six weeks

away from the games, right?

Like, this is the lead up.
