So, um, yeah, so let's just get right into it. What is this podcast? I'm Jen Kirkman. I'm a stand up comedian. I've been touring for, I don't know, 15 years or so worldwide worldwide.

And I've got two Netflix specials. I'm going to die alone and I feel fine. And just keep living both streaming now on Netflix. And I have written two books. One is called I can barely take care of myself. It's about not having kids and not even thinking it was a big deal until everybody started getting up in my business about it from strangers to family members to friends that used to be not an old.

It's not annoying. So it's a great book. You know, it's a really good gift to give to someone for the holiday season.

It's actually good book for couples as well because I wrote half of it when I was married. And you think getting married gets people off your ass about certain life choices, but nope, they'll keep going.

Great. Now that you're married, why don't you have kids? Well, what else is being married for? What do you do when you're married when you don't have kids?

Oh, my God, they're totally going to advocate, aren't they?

Sorry, that was a side note. Anyway, and so then I wrote a second book called I know what I'm doing and otherwise I tell myself, which is about being 40 and divorced and traveling the world and just making unconventional choices for better or for worse, both our great gifts for that woman in your life, who is just like is anyone else out there like me?

And you're that bad friend that's like, no, actually everyone else. Yeah, it's we all seem to brush it together. Get her get her those books for Christmas.
