Happy New Year, everyone.

It's a little bit early on this New Year's Eve to wish you happy New Year.

I'm not going to hug you, not going to kiss you, not going to smoo at midnight.

In fact, I can't remember the last time I was awake at midnight.

I can remember many times we would typically this week go to Arizona and spend a lot of time in the Phoenix area this time of year and celebrate New Year's there.

And we would watch the ball drop in New York City in bed.

If I have it right, I think it was an hour,

an hour delay there. It happened to like, one of the things was absolutely live. And so that was

really early, like 10 o'clock, maybe 10 p.m. And we'd see the ball drop live on one of the

live news channels and go, okay, good. we saw it, lights out, go to bed.

We live for New Year's Day.

Now, I don't know about this year because we've got all this great college football this afternoon, the weather looks good today. I'm going to try to play a few holes of golf on this New Year's Eve and maybe watch some college football with some friends, maybe go to a steakhouse, get some dinner or something like that. and typically we go to fun things on New Year's Day, something, a casino run or some shopping or the plaza,

something like that.

Ah, the weather doesn't look very good at all on Saturday with snow coming.

So this could be our day.

Maybe this is our big New Year's Eve that we have not done for a long, long time. I'm still not promising to anyone that I see midnight

tonight. But there's definitely a much better chance of seeing midnight on this New Year's Eve

than, let's say, the previous 15. I don't think I've seen midnight in the last 15 years. It's been a

long, long, long, long time. I remember being Arizona one time
