So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for especially for Troy

Bettis this young father who has been overtaken by cancer had a difficult turn today. We're praying especially for him.

And Deacon Mark Meese had to be rushed to the ER. He's in terrible pain, so we're praying for him and for the healing of little

Olivia canelie so now we'll pause for a moment and you can call to mind all of your own intentions.

So why do we have this year of St Joseph and why is devotion to him so important and what does it mean to

consecrate oneself to Joseph. This is the theme of our meditation today.

God's plan is to create a family in which all the members play their specific part and take care of one another.

And God gives us the immense dignity of being his adopted sons and daughters

and the further dignity of sharing in and expressing his power and goodness by helping one another.

It's really amazing that Mary Joseph, all of those in purgatory in heaven, all of the angels, and all of those who have

the life of grace in their souls, we are now all in the same family sharing

in the life of God.

And in God's plan, Mary would not only be the mother of Jesus, but also our spiritual mother,

the spiritual mother of all those who have Jesus dwelling within them. And Joseph was not only the father, protector, and provider of Jesus,

he continues to care for all of those who have Jesus dwelling within them.

And he continues to care for Jesus in us

if we turn to him.

And those who use their free will and turn to Mary and Joseph receive the benefit of their maternal and paternal care.
