So in the Middle Ages, they got very creative with some of their torture techniques.

How about that? To start things off today.

And there was one in particular. Don't ask me how I came across this. I don't know. I came

across this innocently and I filed it away for an opportune moment. And this is it. There was one

technique, torture training in particular that caught my attention, not because of what it was,

but because of what they called it. This one, what they would do is they would take the prisoner

and they would tie a rope to each of the four different limbs and they would tie each of those

ropes to four different horses. It's all tell you from there. You use your imagination.

But but here's what's so fascinating about this is what they called it. They called this method

distraction. Death by distraction. Being pulled in a number of different directions with an

inability to keep it all together. And in a less gruesome way, but in a just as much of a

personally detrimental way for you and for me, death by distraction is potential for all of us.

We kicked off a brand new series last week called Bend Don't Break. And I was very honest and
