The reason I love doing this show is because I love movies and books

and the people who create them.

I started doing interviews when I was in high school.

My first was Ray Bradbury, who was my favorite author.

My second was Rod Serling, creator of the iconic Twilight Zone and Night Gallery series.

Having access to creators and how they create

has been the greatest inspiration to me as I work to become better at those things I do in my work.

Yes, even in my gray years, I still learn something from every conversation we have on this podcast.

Though we originally began chatting only with directors,

our field of dreams and dreamers has expanded to include writers, actors,

makeup effects, wizards, even studio heads.
