that you weren't in Madrid. Who cares? I heard it was a lot of fun. One of my sons

went with a bunch of his friends. He said it was an absolute blast, but pain in the ass to get

into the stadium, apparently. Very slow going to get into the stadium for fans. So, where do we start? I guess we start with the game,

even though the result doesn't matter much. This season is now pretty much over if it wasn't

already. Would you think of yesterday's effort in a 16-13 loss to Miami?

Yeah. I mean, look, obviously, you know, the first effort in a 16-13 loss to Miami.

Yeah, I mean, look, obviously, you know, the first number you just mentioned was 16,

not 44 or something outrageous like that.

Right.

You know, so at a minimum level, you say, hey, look, you know, the defense did a better job. And I know that Miami is certainly not a contender the way they've been facing last few weeks, but, you know, they were able to sort of hold off those, like, a massive chunk plays. There were just a lot of 10 and 15, and it played by Devon. He had lots of them. Yeah, he still had like a hundred. Some 30s and 20s, too, I mean, but yeah. Yeah. Who's counting? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's counting. And Jaylen Waddle, you know, didn't quite go off the way it thought maybe he would, considering, you know, his ability. He dropped two balls right in his hands wide open. Yeah. No doubt about it. And, you know, prior to that, you know, interception. And over time, you know, Marriota did what he does, you know, effective, a lot of quick passes. I think it was like one of their high, I think it was like maybe their highest percentage of the year of throws. A quick game. Yeah, under two and a half seconds. That was clearly. was clearly yeah yeah clear something they wanted to do

um you know and that's that's all fine but everything i just said sort of it was in that but you know

moral victory type deal and i don't put moral victories in the pro level uh as as as a real thing and

you know i remember that first half against kansas city and the notion was, hey, look, they played better, more of that, et cetera. And my view at that time was the only way for this team to have success is the other team has to stumble. Like the Chiefs did in that first half, Washington really didn't stop them, you know, too, too much on defense. Anyway, Chiefs went on, you know, we know what happened in the rest of the second half. We know what happened in the next two games. And I'm saying that to note that even though it was a, it looked more competent, for sure, they were also playing a terrible team. And the, I think the games against Kansas City, Seattle, and Detroit showed that,

okay, this team is even close to being with the contenders. This game against Miami showed

they are actually a bad team because both of these teams that really were trying to like give

it away. There was a lot of weird, weird things happening. It was, you know,

not a classic game that we all sort of make fun of.

It's just less funny when it's your team that you pay attention to.
