if you looked at it six months earlier, you'd be like, he's at the top of the free agency

board? But yeah, I mean, nobody, you'd be like, he's at the top of the free agency board?

But yeah, I mean, nobody, you would have been committed had you said in August that the number

one or top three targeted free agent for a $100 million plus contract is going to be

Malik Willis.

And there are examples like that every year.

Fernando Mendoza wasn't on any first round board before the season started.

Okay, Kade Klubnick, Arch Manning, and Garrett and Nussmeyer were supposed to be not only

quarterbacks picked in the first round, but it was supposed to be an exciting quarterback

class with those guys.

It's week to week. We know what we saw yesterday, and we think we might know what we're going to

see in the upcoming weekend. Other than that, it's really hard, and we don't know sometimes

what teams are thinking or what's going on.

The guys on the beat, like Ben Standing, sometimes they have a clue, but I'm going to guess that even this one caught Ben by surprise.
