Mate, it's a little bit shit that we're not sat there. We've done a couple face-to-face.

But when you sent me a message going, I will fly from LA to come do the podcast.

I was like, we can't just sit down and do it online. It's okay. But thank you for the offer.

I think, I just think it's nice to be a generous guest. And I thought, you know,

15 hours on the flight, if it means we get a good podcast and it's better for everyone else,

I feel like I should offer. It's a pretty insane distance to come, but I do appreciate it.

How is LA at the moment? Because I remember the night here, it's for the homeless people.

Yeah, Los Angeles itself is not the romantic city that it looks on Hollywood films.

Some parts of California in general, really beautiful. Weather is amazing. LA itself is

not always a very pleasant city depending on where you are. The type of place that you wouldn't

want your wife to walk alone at night is fair to say. I was there a few years ago and I'm

member going to downtown LA and I was like, oh, I've seen this skyline in Grand Theft Auto.

When there were an electric scooter, got there and I was like, get me out of here.

Yeah, it's one of those places. A friend of mine said it's like a thin,

vanilla of wealth, kind of coinciding with poverty. You can be on a street where there are

super cars. I've been in a gym where the car park was full of super cars, Lamborghini's,

Faris, etc. And then literally five yards away, there's a row of homeless tents. It's a very,

very odd dichotomy. Another thing that's changed with the whole Australia, America where we live in

is our visa situation. Since we last spoke, we both said that we were like planes that couldn't land,

so congratulations Ben Carpenter. Do I call you an American resident or a green card holder?
