All right we are beginning a new series called Created to Be and we'll go four weeks in this

series I'll be here all four weeks, Created to Be. Now let me tell you how this series came about. About a year and a

half ago we took an executive retreat and I was sharing with the guys I would like

for the Lord to give us three or four words

that every person in the congregation

could remember if a person comes to Gateway Church

and kind of ask the question, what does Gateway Church expect of me?

Or maybe this question, what do I do to be involved?

What do I do to really become a part of Gateway Church and allow

God to move in my life and what I do even to allow God to move? It doesn't just

matter that you're part of Gateway, but what I do to allow

God to move in my life and take me to the next step. And so we prayed about it and we felt like that the Lord gave us four words and those are the four words

that we're going to be talking about and there are four words that I think

that we can all remember okay here are the four words let me just remind you I shared with

you two weeks ago on Vision weekend believing belonging becoming and

building believing belonging becoming and

as we prayed about this series the title that we came up with

the title that we came up with is created to be.

And I want you to notice that the emphasis is on being, not doing.

We are human beings, not human doings.

Religious, religion tries to get us to do.

God wants us to be. And if we will simply be what he's created us to be, then
