| 0:00.0 | Hey everyone, it's Dora here. I just want to let you know that we've launched a brand new |
| 0:04.6 | call and advice podcast called Dear Headspace. Each week the headspace teachers along with |
| 0:10.3 | some amazing new friends are answering your questions about relationships, work, life, |
| 0:15.3 | mindfulness, and just about everything else. It's so different from anything we've ever |
| 0:20.3 | created and we're so excited for you to hear it. Dear Headspace comes out every Tuesday |
| 0:25.0 | on the Headspace app and anywhere you listen to podcasts. Thanks for listening. |
| 0:32.0 | Hi, it's Andy here and welcome to Radio Headspace and to Friday morning. So one of the most |
| 0:48.2 | common, most popular questions I get asked is, okay, the training the mind bit, the meditation |

| 1:35.2 | something to happen. And because we're waiting, we're not really present. We're actually |
| 1:39.3 | focused somewhere in the future. And I remember being in one particular monastery where there |
| 1:45.5 | was, I want to say there was less focus on meditation. I mean, you know, on a daily basis, |
| 1:50.3 | you're probably still doing about eight hours of meditation a day, but compared to a lot |
| 1:54.0 | of retreats and things like that, it was less. The focus was very much more on daily activities |
| 2:00.6 | and on the daily sort of chores. It was cleaning windows, it was gardening, it was cooking, |
| 2:06.8 | it was ironing, it was vacuuming, you know, doing stuff, the stuff that you need to do to |
