Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Today we celebrate the baptism of Jesus.

When John the Baptist saw the Holy Spirit descend upon him, it was the Spirit that led Jesus

in all that he did. And Jesus gives the Spirit to us that we too may be led by the Spirit. Today in our meditation I will continue with our

meditation from yesterday in which I give you the second five of ten conditions

that allow us to be led by the Holy Spirit.

So let's begin the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

The first principle I give you today

to be led by the spirit is that faithfulness to grace draws new graces. To everyone who has more, excuse me, to everyone who has more will be

given but from him who has not even what he has will be taken away

God has already revealed much of what he wants us to do

through scripture the teachings of the church. We need to be faithful

to what God has already revealed before we can expect him to reveal new inspirations.

Then as God sees us doing his will in these small things and big things that he's already

revealed, he'll give us further inspirations.

But why would he give us new instructions

if we haven't already begun carrying out the ones he's already given us?

Our father... he's already given us. Our Father who art in heaven, Hallow

would be your name, Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
