The So, question. Do you ever stop to listen to the stories you tell yourself about yourself?

I'm narrating a book right now about a woman who had a rough upbringing,

0:39.1

and her inner monologue, the way she talks about herself, is tough to swallow sometimes.

strong and healthy in my body. I want to sleep well and end the day with a grateful heart.

1:53.6

To serve these desires, I decided to experiment with only telling the stories about myself and my

life that I want to be true.

2:04.1

I might say something that I generally find difficult. Oh, that comes easily to me now.

2:10.3

For when I get the urge to always be busy and taking care of things that need to be done,

2:15.8

instead saying it's safe to rest. Or when I feel lack around something, I'll say, oh, I forgot for a moment that there is always enough. Or my most favorite catch-all mantra these days, I can't mess it up. I can always figure it out.
