But the Colson Center, I'm John Stum Street.

Last week, in response to a Breakpoint commentary about the murders in Nashville, the Colson

Center was identified by a critic as being, quote, proudly, if quietly, dominionist.

Now, to be clear, we aren't.

But he was particularly troubled by how the commentary described Christians as victims,

which, of course, in this case, they were.

In that commentary, we wondered aloud whether or not, in fact, we have entered a new cultural

moment characterized by an increased hostility toward Christians and to others.

Who are, shall we say, culturally non-conforming?

The strange and shameful reversal of who's the victim and who's guilty, and that Nashville

incident, has only continued since.

And there are additional incidents now to consider as well.

On March 29, while speaking on abortion at Virginia Commonwealth University, Kristen

Hawkins, the founder and president of Students for Life, along with a group of others, were

confronted, threatened, even assaulted by an obscenity-crime crowd, who failed to notice

the irony of suppressing free speech by screaming fascist, fascist, fascist.

And rather than remove those who were disrupting the presentation, the campus police instead

removed the pro-life first.

Then two days later, on March 31, authorities in Colorado arrested 19-year-old William

Whitworth for two counts of attempted murder in addition to many other charges.
