A Texas court ruling which was expected to go into effect today temporarily revoked FDA

approval for the abortion drug Mephyrstone.

A U.S. District Judge wrote that the FDA had approved the drug too quickly in 2000 and

didn't ensure the drug was safe.

On Wednesday, however, a federal appeals court blocked that decision, although they did

keep some of the restrictions on access by mail.

Mephyrstone is not safe.

The drug's starve, pre-born children of the progesterone they need to grow, and once

the child has died, a second medication induces premature labor.

Mephyrstone also comes with risk for mothers.

Nevertheless, chemical abortions now account for the majority of abortions committed in America

each year.

Drug companies who have strong financial interest in keeping the prescriptions flowing and

abortion advocates are outraged that there would be any restrictions.

The CEO of Planned Parenthood Arizona toad reporters, we knew that anti-abortion activists

and politicians would not stop at overturning row.

Well, hopefully, she's right.

We won't stop.

Prescription abortions are the new front and the fight to protect life.
