More and more people are identifying as bisexual yet bi-phobia is rife and the world's media remains guilty of regular bi-erasure. Journalist and writer Nichi Hodgson who is openly bisexual herself, examines what it is like to be bisexual for both men and women in different parts of the world.

So in this program I'm going on a personal exploration in which I'll hear from other people with similar experiences around the world who are coping with their bisexuality, often in the face of strong opposition and traditional views and values.

To start my journey I went along to a support group in Birmingham in the heart of the UK.

By meeting groups are few and far between,

but the Brumbai group has been going for about 10 years

and they meet every month at a pub in the city centre.

are a cross section of different ages, backgrounds and
