1:09.9	Now, that may not sound like a very fun topic,
1:13.0	but it can be a cause for rejoicing. We discovered this as we looked at the story of Paul and Silas
1:19.6	being beaten in Acts chapter 16. We learned that there are three reasons why we can rejoice
1:26.2	when being beaten. As we join our
1:28.9	teaching in progress, we will review the first two reasons, then talk more about
1:34.4	the third reason. With our study here now is Pastor John.
1:38.9	It is showing the desperation of their enemy, the validation of their ministry, yea, all those who live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.
1:52.0	If you're not suffering persecution, it means that perhaps you're not engaged in the ministry that God has called you to in the way that you could be
2:02.3	and should be.
2:04.2	Number three, it is an indication of their maturity.
2:09.3	That's why they rejoiced, hey, hey, look at this, guys.
2:15.0	We're in prison here.
