Now, that may not sound like a very fun topic,

but it can be a cause for rejoicing. We discovered this as we looked at the story of Paul and Silas

being beaten in Acts chapter 16. We learned that there are three reasons why we can rejoice

when being beaten. As we join our

teaching in progress, we will review the first two reasons, then talk more about

the third reason. With our study here now is Pastor John.

It is showing the desperation of their enemy, the validation of their ministry, yea, all those who live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.

If you're not suffering persecution, it means that perhaps you're not engaged in the ministry that God has called you to in the way that you could be

Number three, it is an indication of their maturity.
