I saw myself being a performer, acting or music or you know, just having my own thing on my channel.

My bet played out quite successfully, I would say.

Today on the Colin and Samir show, we're talking to an Indian creator named Sejul Kumar.

Sejil is a YouTuber from New Delhi who started her channel in 2014 making lifestyle and

fashion videos. And now she has over 1.3 million subscribers and over 200 million views on her channel.

Sejel has her own fashion line, she's released her own original music, and she's even

acted in a Netflix original.

Now, one thing that I found really interesting is that Seagel helped her mom, who's a

gynaecologist in India, start a YouTube channel and gain a

following of over 200,000 people. It's pretty incredible. She's also like a YouTube consultant.

I think what's amazing, and you'll hear about this in our conversation, but she's willing to

talk about things that generally aren't talked about in India on the mainstream media, using her

own distribution to share her thoughts on what have been
