Over 120,000 people have already expressed an interest

in buying shares in Lloyd's banking group since the Treasury announced that it would make

£2 billion worth of the shares available at a 5% discount. Here's the Chancellor, George Osborne.

This final sale will be the biggest privatisation in over 20 years, And I don't want all of those shares to go to city institutions.

I want them to go to members of the public.
