Author and award-winning investigative reporter, Shari Markson, spent over a year investigating the origins of the virus, going right to the source, getting access to a top-secret

lab in Wuhan. She joins me now for her untold story. Shari, great to have you with us today.

This is a fascinating book, and you certainly got a lot of access.

I think that, you know, one of the things that I find most intriguing about all of this is the secretive nature and the complicity of the WHO in helping China to hide and cover up what was going on.

Tell me a little bit about how you got into this topic and how you got the access that you did.

It's so wonderful to be with you.

Well, I started reporting on this topic early last year around March and April.

And I'm in Australia and sitting here in Australia, it just didn't make sense to me how it's such

an important topic about the origins of the virus and why so many people are getting sick

and dying all around the world and why our

lives have been turned upside down. Such an important topic wasn't properly being investigated

and there was this cover-up by the tech giants who was censoring any discussion of the issue.

The media mostly was refusing to engage in the issue.
