We've heard a lot about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

A brutal and pointless war that deserves plenty of condemnation.

We hear a lot less about the war being conducted by Saudi Arabia,

with the assistance of the United Arab Emirates on Yemen,

which has killed 10,000 directly, almost 400,000 through hunger and sickness,

and has pushed 16 million to the brink of starvation.

Unlike the bloodletting in Ukraine, the war in Yemen is being prosecuted

with US-made weapons and Washington's political support,

despite Biden's promise last year to withdraw that support.

The Saudi Air Force could not carry on its relentless bombing campaign

without parts and maintenance furnished by our government.

The other guys' cruelty seemed to get a lot more notice than ours do.
