0:17.5	He's the founder and CEO of Cajunstays, based in Lafayette in Louisiana in the USA and yeah,

0:41.2	photos on there, but welcome along. Thank you for being here. Thanks a lot. Thanks for having me.
0:47.6	So we've obviously known each other about a year now because of Legend's X Training.
0:53.1	Thanks to Eric Moe and Jasper Rivers. Awesome going through that. Let's start just by telling
0:58.8	us a bit about your business and a brief history of how you got into hosting.
1:04.7	Well, my background is a university professor. I was teaching athletic training in sports medicine
1:11.2	and I always had some type of side project going on and actually at the time when I learned about
1:19.0	Airbnb, it was virtually unknown here in Lafayette. It had really just started in its first year
1:25.0	in California and I was running two music venues and teaching five days a week at the university,
1:32.4	doing research on committees and then running booking like six bands a week and it was really
1:40.8	starting to wear on me a little bit after I did it for about three years and then a band from
1:47.9	California. I told them that I was ready to drop everything and rent a car and I wanted to
1:52.6	drop to Canada and back. And so that's how it started. They told I wrote it down on a cocktail
2:01.2	napkin, Airbnb and Marfa, Texas. And the next morning I woke up and I looked at it and I got on
2:08.4	the internet and I kind of remembered the conversation, but at the time I was reading a book called
2:16.3	Joy of Less, which is a minimalist book. It's one of the most popular minimalist books out there and
