0:40.7	I have always been obsessed with the Metball. It's like this break from the mundane. It is pure fantasy glamor
0:47.2	aspirational glamor and it is largely considered the most prestigious event in the entire world.
0:53.2	It started as a very small dinner party, a supper, it was like a midnight supper, and it has grown
0:58.3	every single decade into the phenomenon it is today.
1:01.6	Anna Wintor, who is of course the editor in chief of vogue has really
1:05.1	elevated the metball into this global phenomenon that it is today. We now see
1:09.9	tech sponsors coming in like Instagram and Tik-Tog and it's now live
1:14.9	stream the red carpet is live stream we get to watch people come down the
1:17.9	carpet in real time it is one of those events where you were just glued to your
1:21.6	phone we never see what happens inside though.
1:24.4	There's a full social media blackout inside the gallon.
1:27.4	We see it the next day.
1:28.3	Vogue releases the official photos.
1:30.2	But we do know there is always a musical performance.
1:32.3	Share is performed, Riana's performed, Lady Gaga's performed,
