This is a paid advertisement from BetterHelp and they're bringing you the podcast today.

And if you're listening to her distraction pieces, you'll probably know that over the

0:10.1

500 or so episodes, mental health comes up an awful lot and even more so really in recent years.

0:19.1

And we've had a lot of people on who've talked about having therapy, using therapy,

0:24.0

and as soon as they've started using therapy, wishing they'd started using therapy years before,

0:31.2

it's an interesting one. Right, when you're at your best, you can do amazing things, obviously,

0:38.0

but you can't be on top of your game all the time and working with a therapist can get you closer

0:44.0

to the best version of you. And the one you're at your best thing is key because I feel

0:49.3

something that a lot of us do is when we're in a really low point, we're aware that there's a problem,

0:55.6

right? It's evident. But when we get out of that, we kind of tell ourselves, oh, it's all right,

1:01.7

oh, it's all good, but it's when we're in the good point that we have to take the action

1:06.4

to counter the future low points, if that makes sense. So yeah, if you think it have given therapy

1:12.6

a try, BetterHelp is a great option. And again, I think more people have an access to therapy in

1:18.8

general is a positive thing. And I said, BetterHelp is an option for therapy online via video,

1:26.2

phone or message chats. So you don't have to say anyone on camera if you don't want to. There's no

1:32.6

commute and no waiting room. And I also think a really important thing about therapy is finding the

1:37.8

right match. One of the beautiful things about BetterHelp is you can kind of just if you're feeling

1:42.4

it's not working with the person that you kind of find first, like you can read kind of about

1:48.2

each of the therapists available to tell you and find who you think might be best. If you have

1:53.4

a few sessions and you feel it's not working, it's like a click to try someone else. It's not some big

1:59.8

dramatic hard thing. And again, therapy is really personal. But basically, there's over 100

2:06.0

therapists in the UK already with BetterHelp. And they can provide access to mental health professionals
