reporter Joe Don McHugh, who is of course here to preview the game

between the Reds and our channel Bielso's men. Joe welcome back to the Blood Red

podcast how much are you looking forward to Monday night's game. It sounds strange.

And first of all, thank you very much for having me on, Matt, but it sounds strange to say that, you know,

you go into this game, you know, covering leads obviously on the back of a two-one win a Stewart Dallas masterclass at the Eti had last weekend and you know you it's not it's not a game where you approach with the same trepidation that you might have done at the beginning of the season with the game back at Anfield.

I think that's sort of a reflection of how well and you know the expectations that leads have surpassed this season and also the fact that it's a bit of a free hit that you know there's no risk of

relegation for for leads or you know unlikely to trouble the European places so it's a it's a pressure-free game really so

yeah it's I think it'll be a really really interesting fixture yeah

yeah as you say obviously leads went to Manchester Manchester City and won late on last week.

They'd drawn nil-0 with Chelsea, I think that was last month.

They've beaten Leicester as well in January.

They've had some decent results against the top sides. They've had some less good ones as well.

They got heavily beaten by Manchester United, for example.

I suppose it's almost been an inconsistent season for Leeds in a way, which you kind of expect really from a newly promoted team.

Yeah I think I mean maybe inconsistent might be the wrong word but I've described

it multiple times as sort of topsy-turvy you know know, there'll be, I think, the city win, which was completely unexpected, was the first time that leads have strung together three, three wins in the league this season, which last year and the season before was sort of common practice, you know, getting three, four wins on the spin.

So it's been, it's been a bit stop start at times because obviously more difficult fixtures come into play and,

you know, you naturally the just the disparity between squads
