0:13.0	As we study the scriptures with Scott Pauley today,
0:16.0	we pray that God will help us learn how to develop grateful hearts and hopes.
0:21.6	What are the angels doing right now?
0:31.6	According to Scripture, they are gathered around the throne of God
0:35.6	and they are praising and worshiping the one who created
0:39.7	them. They are singing holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was and is and is to come.
0:49.7	All right, let me ask you, what do you think we will do throughout eternity?
0:52.9	Friend, when we get to the throne of God in the presence of that thrice holy God,
0:57.6	we're going to praise Him as well.
0:59.5	I don't believe you can get in the presence of God without praising Him.
1:02.9	So praise is the one thing that you can do that the angels are doing.
1:08.7	And praise is the one thing that you can do now
1:12.1	that you're going to do in eternity.
1:15.2	Literally, praise brings a little bit of heaven down to earth.
1:19.5	Praise brings God near to our consciousness.
1:24.1	God is always near.
1:25.8	The Lord is always with us.
1:29.3	We're not always very conscious of that, are we? As a matter of fact, we go through so many days
1:31.3	without even so much as thinking of the Lord,
1:33.3	and yet when you begin to praise the Lord, it makes you conscious
