Welcome to that Traffon Show, the podcast presented by Scientific Triathlon.com.

My name is Michael Edickson, and today I'm starting a new series on the podcast, specifically for people who are just getting into triathlon or even just thinking about it.

It's creatively named beginner

series and this will be episode one.

What we'll do today is we'll basically discuss an introduction to triathlon and also an introduction

to this series itself.

Very, very long-time listeners might remember that I actually did run a podcast series that

I called

Beginner Tips back in 2018.

That was 37 episodes long or short because the episodes themselves were short.

I think usually 10 to 20 minutes.

And this will essentially be a completely new and updated version of that series that serves

both to update and improve

on the actual content from that time because seven years have passed and secondly it will be

to get this content out to more people and specifically to more beginners as the listeners

from 2018 who were beginners back then are certainly not beginners anymore

and the beginners of today are unlikely to go back and find podcast episodes from 2018

or if they do find them probably are unlikely to listen to them.

So hopefully this will be a fresh start and we'll get in front of a lot of people

and I hope that if you're a regular listener of the podcast you can help

it be that way by sharing it to people that might be interested. A note to the more experienced

listeners who might not be the target audience for these episodes still share as I just mentioned
