Hello everyone, welcome back to the Epic Gardening podcast.

We are joined again by Adam Wallace.

He is the natural resource manager for Sierra Nevada Brewing at the Mills River location

in North Carolina.

So, we've talked about a couple different ways that they're generating compost, making

use of that organic matter and then repurposing it, putting it back into the landscape or back

into their seed starting or propagation.

And today, we're going to talk about something that's very much on my mind right now because

I'm building out a micro orchard of my own here at the Epic Homestead.

So you guys have an orchard of sorts out there, right?

We do.

It's brand new.

We just installed it this past spring.

So we're not experts by any means, but we're learning an awful lot as we're going along

here.

It's been a fun journey.

Yeah.

I would say the exact same thing.

I'm behind you a little bit.

I can look at my window right now and look at about, I don't know, 25 different fruit trees

that I've gotten in containers that are sort of awaiting their final resting places.

I figure out my landscape plan here, but yeah, it's a really fun journey.
