and I'm going to tell you a bedtime story.

Today's bedtime story was sent in by Michael Y.

Music There have been three instances in my life where something has happened, something significant that I somehow foretold.

I say foretold because these weren't like overwhelming pangs of prophetic knowing.

They were just things I said aloud to myself or to other people that became true, seconds,

hours or days later.

The first was a plane crash.

It was July in the year 2000. I was 16 years old and my family and I were going on a vacation to France.

We would spend a few days in Paris before renting a car and driving to Morsin, a little town in the south of France to stay with friends of my dad's.

My dad was born in England, grew up in Scotland, so this was a chance for him to visit his UK friends who had a holiday home there.

Often when we would travel as a family, my dad would book some of the flights using points.
