Welcome. Tonight's story comes from the roots of our Hebrew faith. I'm Brian Stivale.

The Shema prayer, the Jewish Declaration of witnessing faith in one God, is traditionally

recited each evening and morning.

It is one of the first prayers children learn, often as a bedtime prayer, and can be a beloved family ritual, including bedtime stories,

hugs, and kisses. At bedtime, adults traditionally say the Shama too, accompanied by various bedtime

prayers. Undoubtedly, the shama too accompanied by various bedtime prayers undoubtedly Jesus recited this prayer each

night yeshua mentioned the shema when referencing the greatest commandment in 2011 my family and I moved to Israel, where we lived for two years. During that time,

God awakened me to the importance and power of understanding our Hebrew roots as believers

in Jesus Christ. Yeshua.

As a professional voice actor with hundreds of credits,

including TV shows, radio, and a plethora of video games,

I also co-pastor with my wife,

King of King's Community, in Los Angeles.

so dear to my heart.

The Messiah truly wants, and yes, even needs for you to be rested.

He needs you to be fit to serve him relax your muscles allow the comfort of your

bed to embrace your weary body when we pray the shema, we are declaring that God alone is king, that he alone is worthy of our worship.

It's like a pledge of allegiance to the Lord who is one.
