Luke, chapter 11, as we near the end of our annual vision series.

So far, we've covered a lot of ground.

What it means to apprentice under Jesus, our vision for alpha in the new year

and prayer, spiritual formation, how do we become people of love?

And we're just about done, but we really want to kind of end our time together

by just saying, you know, if you're in for this,

if you're ready to follow Jesus and practice His way in community

and labor and work and pray and bleed for the kingdom of God to come in our city,

we're just asking that you would give of your resources to this.

So we thought I'd be fitting to do a money talk,

just what you all woke up this morning saying, yes.

So first, three of you, well done, a disclaimer.

I know that when pastors talk about money, it's just weird.

There's so much, the West Coast word for it is an emotional trigger,

which is West Coast where we just don't want to talk about that.

And I know that.

And I don't, there's this weird conspiracy between you and me.

I don't want to teach on money.

You don't want me to teach on money.

So we just don't talk about it in the church, right?

So there's a thing there.
