Hey guys, it's Miller. What a treat that Don Fento, the legend, was with us this weekend. If you don't know Don. He is 95 years young. I've been in ministry over 70 years. Pastor at the Belmont Church in Nashville. For over 20 years years he is a pastor to pastors a lot of musicians and worship leaders

that you know Don has been their pastors he preached just such a beautiful message. So please dive in. Don runs Caleb Global, which is a

ministry focus on Israel and God's heart for Israel. That will be the second message we post this

week from his associate, Todd McDowell. So be sure to check out both those

podcasts. Thanks for tuning in. I want to talk to you about growing in the likeness of Jesus.

And there's a verse in scripture that has become a life verse to me. I like many many of you, and I had a very good rearing in many ways.

Right over here, I grew up over here right outside LaMesa, Texas, or the farm,

went to high school in Lubbock, went to college at Abilene,

and then met my wife in Memphis. And we spent eight years in Germany and then came back and we were in Memphis three years

and got a master's degree of the Harding and then we moved to Nashville. I taught at

Lipscomb for eight years and then got in trouble because I was dealing with the Jesus people

and it didn't fit. I was at a place one night visiting, I mean looking for a fellow that had gotten

expelled from school for drugs and the police came to the same place and so I had to

explain why I was there and I resigned before I got fired and and the Belmont elders called me and

said look you've got the ministry because I was involved with all these Jesus people these we

called them Jesus freaks they were they were hippies that had turned Jesus freaks.

And they said, look, you've got the ministry.

We've got the place for it.

Had about 65 or so people, old people.

I hung up a phone and said, Lord, I don't want to.

I'm so sick of the institutional church and all the

politics. I just want to go rent a warehouse somewhere and put up a sign that says,
