My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are here, that you see me, that you hear me.

I adore you with profound reverence.

I ask your pardon for my sins and the grace to make this time of prayer for him for.

With your permission, Lord Jesus Christ, truly present with us in the Blessed Sacrament.

And our next period of prayer, our time of at least preached prayer, is becoming that light,

because only the Lord makes us light of the world.

And what does he mean? What does Jesus mean?

The Gospel of St. Mark, kind of a nuts and bolts gospel,

because those were homilies delivered to the Romans,

who were kind of American-esque, very pragmatic,

into the bottom line.

That's why we have so many miracles packed into that gospel,

because St. Peter was giving homilies, and he had to prove that Jesus was God to the Romans and the Romans wanted the facts.

So he got a lot of miracles.

And so Mark skipped the infancy narratives of our Lord probably on a human level.
