0:04.0	And the topic of today's newsletter is going to be becoming a but-hurt man-baby turns women off.
0:11.0	Well, I got an email, this is from a guy. I don't know how long he's been following me, but I assume it's a couple years.
0:17.0	He says he did really well when he learned the book, read it 10 times or so.
0:22.2	And he said for the first year of his relationship with his girlfriend, things were great.
0:27.4	He says, they're almost too good to be true.
0:31.3	But for the last five or six months, he said he kind of stopped reading the book, got lazy, got complacent,
0:38.7	she lost interest in sex and intimacy. And his solution was to start complaining about it and tell
0:45.4	her that she had to make more of an effort, even though he recognized that his behavior had kind
0:51.2	of changed and her attraction had dropped. And so over the course of the next five to six months until just the last day or two when she
0:58.4	dumped him, he didn't know what to do to fix it and things just kept getting worse and all he
1:05.3	did was complain. He said he was in essence constantly triggered by her and constantly getting
1:09.0	upset and butt hurt.
1:15.3	And then some of the things she tells him after they broke up or she was breaking up with him just really shows what was going on and how she really felt about him.
1:20.6	And this is the experience for most guys that get dumped by their girlfriends or their wives.
1:29.8	The biggest complaint that women have is guys are romantic at first, and then it's like they stop courting their women. And if you talk
1:35.8	to the guys, they say, well, it's like they make the effort in the beginning. They think, hey,
1:39.7	once you're together in a relationship, well, you don't have to do those things anymore,
1:42.7	because that courtship phase is over. Now you're in a relationship, well, you don't have to do those things anymore because that courtship phase is over.
1:44.9	Now you're in a relationship.
1:46.2	Those things don't apply.
1:48.0	But for serious students know that the courtship never ends.
