Welcome to the Man Talk Show. I'm Connor Beaton. Today we're going to talk about three ways to deal

0:05.2

with uncertainty. Now, if you are new here to the channel, if you're watching on YouTube or if you're

0:10.9

tuning into the podcast for the very first time, Man Talks is not therapy, is training. This is a

0:18.3

training ground for men who are looking to better themselves as husbands,

0:22.4

as fathers, as leaders. And we provide a lot of tools and resources to do so. So today, as I said,

0:28.6

we're going to talk about uncertainty. One of the things that I've noticed with a lot of men is that we

0:33.6

can get caught in this trap of avoiding any experience, any challenge where the outcome is

1:10.7

there's a tremendous amount of uncertainty. If regardless of what career you are in,

1:15.5

there is going to be some level of uncertainty. And your capacity, your ability as a man to

1:20.7

navigate that uncertainty is going to affect, I was going to say in fact, maybe it will infect certain parts of your life. It's going to affect, I was going to say infect, maybe it will infect certain parts of your life,

1:30.1

it's going to affect how confident you ultimately feel. There's a direct correlation between

1:36.3

you being able to navigate certain levels of uncertainty in your life and the amount of confidence

1:41.3

that you as a man will inevitably experience and embody.

1:45.4

People can feel that.

1:46.9

Men that know how to navigate uncertainty feel more confident because they're less fixated

1:53.1

and focused and obsessed about the outcome.

1:55.7

The outcome that happens is less relevant.
