Hello, my friends. Welcome back to The Morning Mindset. This is our opportunity together

to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word. Because the way that we live in

this world as Christ followers really matters. It really matters for eternity. It matters

for the glory and majesty and renown of our King Jesus Christ. We get to make a difference

for His sake in this world and our minds being aligned with His truth is a key part of

how we do that. Today we're going to be looking at John chapter 7 verses 10 through 13.

And here we're going to find a little bit of a twist to the story. If you remember in

yesterday's episode, Jesus' physical brothers, his actual brothers James and Judas were

encouraging him to go up to one of the feasts that was going on in Jerusalem to make

himself known publicly. And he said, no, no, it's not my time yet. And we talked about

what that meant in yesterday's episode. Well, today we find out a little bit more of what

happened after that conversation. It's as in verse 10 of John chapter 7. But after his

brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly, but in private.

The Jews were looking for him at the feast and saying, where is he? And there was much

muttering about him among the people. While some said, he is a good man. Others said,

no, he's leading the people astray. Yet for fear of the Jews, no one spoke openly of

him. So do you get the picture? Jesus went up to celebrate the feast, but he didn't do

so. Like his brothers were encouraging him with a lot of show and making himself known.

He's behind the scenes. He's just there to celebrate to be a part of it, but not to

be the center of it yet. He's already said his time is not yet come. And so you see

these these conversations that are going on at the feast. People expected him to be there.

Some were disappointed and some were not some some were disappointed for the wrong reasons.
