Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. 0:37.0	Today's story is another story that happens in my backyard. Have I told you much about
0:47.5	my backyard? Well, it's a beautiful place with fruit trees and forests and the big barn and a river that flows
0:57.3	through it. Oh yeah do you remember the stories about the shark that got lost in
1:02.4	that river or the other creatures that have been in that river like the otter?
1:06.3	Yeah, well it's that same river and this is a story about Beevie, the Beaver.
1:14.0	He is a Beaver that moved into my backyard and he's actually working on building a
1:19.4	Beaver Dam in the river. And that is where today's story starts off.
1:25.0	It was a beautiful day and Bevy was looking for some more branches and trees to add onto his beaver dam.
1:32.0	Do you know why Beaver's build dams? Yeah, it's to stop the flow of the water for a little bit so that they can have a nice calm place. They don't like fast moving water and so that's why they build those
1:45.4	things to stop the water from flowing and they can just have a nice lazy pond
1:51.7	to swim in.
1:53.0	Ah, this is coming on just great.
