About Mr. Jim:

Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. My wife Jocelyn and I have 3 kids and love inspiring others towards greater imagination and curiosity.

0:35.0	Me too, let's go! It was getting very late this Thursday evening and it was time for Avea to get ready for bed.
0:56.0	Mom, but I'm not even tired.
0:59.0	Oh, she said as she tried to hide her yawn behind her hands.
1:04.3	Aveya, it is very late and it's time for bed.
1:08.1	Okay, mom. She raced over to the bathroom and brushed her teeth, combed her hair, and got ready for bed.
1:18.0	And she curled up in bed under some nice warm comfy blankets and her special pillow.
1:25.0	Holy smokes.
1:27.0	I I don't know about you but I love comfy blankets and pillows.
1:32.0	What is your favorite comfy thing to curl up with in bed?
1:36.0	I think I need, I have this special blanket that's nice and heavy and I just, oh I love getting underneath that heavy blanket and it gives me a big hug.
1:47.0	Well, as she was curled up in bed, about to fall asleep, she all of a sudden heard a sound.
1:54.3	She sat right up.
1:55.8	What was that sound? she said.
1:58.8	It sounded like something crashed in my closet.
2:01.7	She jumped out of bed and wait a second could that be a monster?
