0:05.0	Welcome to our Rosary meditation.
0:07.0	Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
0:10.0	Amen.
0:11.0	Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.
0:14.0	Just as the body needs food, water, and oxygen to live,
0:19.0	the three powers of the soul need reality.
0:22.0	The intellect needs to be nourished by reality in the
0:26.3	form of truth, the will needs to be nourished by reality in the form of goodness,
0:31.3	and the passions or desires need to be nourished by
0:36.2	reality in the form of beauty. Without food and water the body will die, without
0:41.9	reality in the form of truth goodness and beauty the soul
0:45.8	begins to die from a sense that life is meaningless. We've reflected on truth and
0:52.2	goodness. Now we meditate on beauty.
0:57.0	We are inundated with entertainment in our culture, but entertainment is not necessarily the same as beauty and sadly
1:06.4	too often entertainment distracts us from what we really need.
1:11.4	Beauty. So what is beauty? Beauty is not just in the eye of the
1:16.6	beholder. So in this meditation I'm going to begin to push you to think very
1:21.7	differently about the nature of beauty.
1:25.0	For beauty consists in order and surprise together.
1:31.0	Our Father who art in heaven, hollow would be your name.
1:36.0	Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
