Our guest, Nadine Artemis, is known for talking about beauty.

She's the author of three books and her latest is actually called Renegade Beauty.

But she's probably most known as the founder and creator of

living libations, a line of skin care, serums, elixirs, dental health care, essential oils,

and they're beauty products that honestly I've used and have loved for years. I found them maybe 10 years ago.

She calls herself a beauty philosopher and after speaking with her, I actually think I understand what that means.

Nadine first combined flasks of essential oils to recreate a perfume that she liked for her school

science fair. So she's been doing this for a really long time. And then her botanical inclinations

led her to, in 1994, open North America's first full concept aroma therapy store.

She's Canadian, and it was called osmosis, and then eventually led to what she's doing now.
