high tail it from House Hall to make it in time for big pro football show so you got it's the boys today clay how you

feeling i'm good man uh obviously was out there at hallis hall um got to see the bears practice a little

bit of a difficult vantage point for me but i you know i still see, I think, enough and some good stuff that we could talk about here today, Alex. So looking forward to that. Yeah, I love it. Clay was out there mixing it up. He was with the fans. So if you thought, was that Clay Harbor out there? You're right. I had a hat and sunglasses on, you know, just blending in trying to beat that sun, man. And I wasn't in the media section. I was out there elbowing fans trying to get a better view next to the fence there. And sorry to the 10-year-old, I elbowed in the back there, but it was just a nice old nudge

to get them off me.

I'm kidding, that actually never happened.

No, it was practice number five today,

and it was the first time the bears put the pads on and it was hot, hot, hot.

We saw dudes getting the sponges of the water over their necks.

It looked so refreshing.

We saw a lot of guys with their knees on the ground, helmet on the ground next to them.

It was a steamy one out there.

So Clay, just what were your first impressions of first padded practice on a pretty brutally humid day?

First thing I noticed, I think this is something me and you actually texted about was I thought the offensive line did pretty well in one-on-ones.

And, you know, usually I would say throughout my time in the NFL and in watching,

I feel like early on in practice and in camp and we get the pads on, the defense would kind

of be giving it to the offense a little bit. They'd be winning the one-on-one drills.

Then you'd see the shift for whatever reason to where, you know, midway through camp,
