Behind me you see parts of the old walled city of London and these are now preserved

under glass in the city of London which is the square mile where all finance

happens where I used to work and some of these ruins were actually unearthed

after they were hit in World War II by some of the German bombs.

They didn't even know they were still here.

These go way back, obviously, some over a thousand years, and it's what used to separate kind of the walled city

where they would lock up at night versus the rest of the mayhem that would kind of

go on around here and I'm actually at Bishop's Gate

which was one of the gates of the city I don't know if they used to let bishops

in or what the deal was but it's right here

known for kind of the financial district and you can

see the old girken in the back so

on the show this week is a gentleman by the name of Beardy Man.

He is a London musician and a former Beat Box champion, although he'll be the first one to tell you that he's over the beatboxing

he's moved on his music has evolved with the aid of some serious technology and

he basically can do these one-man shows by only

using his voice and you can catch a fantastic YouTube video of his TED Talk where

he creates sound only by using his voice, his technology, his

looping and he can create entire tracks.

He does one-man shows that are part comedy, part improv, part simulated rave, part new music. I mean, he can do everything from

mash-ups to covers and he's constantly trying to evolve as an individual and as I said in the very beginning of the show he seems like a restless soul someone who if he's not being challenged he's getting bored and I don't think you'll ever see him in Vegas when he's 60 years old singing an old tune that he made when he was 30.
