today, and I imagine a lot of you are as well.

If you're like me, you try to keep the emotions at bay.

You try not to think about what it's happening all the time to all the animals,

and you try to function in the real world.

You know, but I mean, I think everybody on the planet seems to do that, but most people

don't also try to remember that it is happening, but not let it overwhelm them.

They just forget about the fact that it's happening or something.

We never can figure out exactly what most people, the ones who care about animals, what's

going on in their heads, it's hard to know. Anyway, I'm digressing. So it was the Ridgeland rescue

this weekend that really threw me for an emotional loop. I really, I don't want to say a deep dive.

I mean, I did get pretty low.

But also, I think every once in a while, you have to go there.

You have to, like, really feel the deep emotional scars and pain,

knowing what's happening to animals and uh and and hopefully come back from it

you know adding adding energy or adding adding motivation it's probably a necessary part of it but

you know it's sometimes it's scary sometimes you feel like you're not going to get out of it

anyway i imagine a lot of you have seen film footage of the rescue on social media,

and probably a lot of you are familiar with it. Of course, it has a long tortured legal history.

And that was when it started out, activists from DXE went into this dog breeding and testing facility in Wisconsin and rescued some dogs.
