to talk about getting vulnerable and finding your people.

If it were that simple, it would be a pamphlet, right?

I could just say, hey, start a separate club.

But it's not that.

We're talking about daily like in and out of each other's lives and choosing a mode of

operation that's communal rather than independent.

We have been raised in an independent society and so choosing those little things are actually

really hard to do because we value independence.

We Amazon, what we need, we don't go and borrow it from our neighbor.

We've had a couple different episodes this winter on friendship but today we're really

leaning into how do you cultivate the deep friendships, the ones that sustain you, the

ones where you are known and seen and you know others, the ones that you let in when you're

having a hard time, when you've experienced severe anxiety or a challenge.

And thankfully, Jenny Allen is going first.

She's an author, speaker, Bible study writer and the host of If Gathering.
