Summary

A personal story and meditation to help you recognize Grace in disguise.

Just as I don't need traffic to stop, you don't need _________.  We just need to see through the world-- ourselves and our needs-- and let Grace do what It do.

"All heaven is, is consciousness unfolding... as thee need appears.
It makes no difference whether you need health, wealth, or ideas, you go to God only for Grace, and that Grace appears outwardly as the form necessary to your experience.  Therefore, if your need today is food, It comes forth as food; if it is transportation, It comes forth as transportation; if it is an idea, it will come forth as an idea.  But always remember this, God knows nothing of the forms: God knows only Grace." - Joel Goldsmith

"Grace is the same as Peace, but there is no peacekeeper, nor anyone being silent." - Mooji

"Be quiet, that's Truth. Be Still, that's God. " - Ramana Maharshi

I Love you and I'm with you,
Nik

I was sitting here yesterday waiting for a car

0:29.9

to pass. I get up super early in order to avoid the noise in the house, but also the noise outside live on like an inner coastal waterway and across the water behind the house, which is outside of the door to my studio. There's a land bridge and the traffic can get very noisy, even already at this hour.

0:52.9

And so whenever a noisy car goes by, I have to wait, I have to stop speaking, stop recording for a moment and wait for it to pass because when I try to record over it, it is not good.

1:04.9

And so I don't stop the recording. I just pause and wait.

1:12.9

And I've been doing this since June. And it was yesterday that I recognized the gift of the traffic and recognize the gift that it's been all this time, even though I didn't see it that way.

1:27.9

And that pause yesterday, I was waiting.

1:33.9

And then I wasn't. There was no Nikki waiting for traffic to pass. There was no problem of traffic. There was no recording.

1:46.9

There was just love.

1:49.9

The world melted. And that thunder of silence, the world, including Nikki and her annoyance and the need for the traffic to stop and the traffic itself, all of it seen through.

2:04.9

And then I was back. And the speaking resumed. And the words that came were fresh. And I noticed that that happens every day, every morning.

2:16.9

If I was just be able to get down here and hit record and get done real quick, a quality of the share would be different. It would be a lot more Nikki than it is.

2:29.9

I'm forced into the silence multiple times during a 10 minute recording, at least four or five times. I'm forced to shut up and find love.

2:42.9

Because if I'm not in love, I am annoyed because I feel like I'm on the clock trying to erase my family awake.

2:49.9

And so I release the resistance. I release the idea of time. I release the idea of traffic. I release the idea of Nikki needing to record for a you.

3:00.9

And then that quiet. There's just love. And then from that love comes a message.

3:10.9

And sometimes while the words are coming, I'm like, wow, that's better than what I plan to say. Sometimes when I hear the traffic while speaking, I'm like, well, I should probably shouldn't be saying that.

3:21.9

I take it as a sign. And then after a short while, that silence speaks.

3:29.9

I don't like to talk about myself. I'm always like, how does this relate to you? How can this help you?

3:37.9

The first question to you would be what in your life might be masquerading or appearing as a hindrance, but it's actually a blessing.

3:45.9

Nothing you're going through is by chance or by accident. Everything is food. It's fuel for the spiritual journey. Everything. Nothing is left out.

3:56.9

If you can see everything as a blessing, everything as a helper to you in finding and living as the light, it changes your life, it changes your experience to shift from seeing it as an inconvenience to seeing it as grace, to seeing it as love and disguise.

4:16.9

My next question would be what is it that you think you need? I seem to need silence.
