because I think that we're not really taught this. It can be confusing. We can almost think, well, the opposite of what it is that I'm about to say is probably going to be helpful for you. But it has taken me a long time to learn this lesson as someone who loves people, as someone who loves to network, as someone who naturally has an excitement for life and also someone who's a pleaser.

Be less available. What do I mean by that? Be less available. Don't be so available. My mom actually said that when I was a teenager growing up because I was running around a lot, right? I had of course school, I had a lot of part-time jobs which

I loved, had a lot of friends, had a lot of part-time jobs which I loved, had a lot of social stuff, and she could probably

tell that I was overextending myself with different friends, different people, different

And I think to myself, she was right all along,

but I did run myself ragged in my 20s and oh my gosh, my thotties are ending soon by kind of showing up for a lot of things.

And look it is important to show up to go to the right events for you, to make the right

new friends for you, to put yourself out there. But while you're doing

that, don't forget to be discerning. Not everything, not everywhere, not every event, not every person,
