Hey, this is Durey. I'm all going to talk to the people. This week we have the news.

As usual with me, Brittany Clinton Sam. Brittany was calling him from hotels, so she may sound a little different,

but the conversation is still the same. I learned so much every week. I learned a lot this week.

Then I'm joined by Jennifer Eberhardt, he's a social psychologist at Stanford University in the author of the book,

Bias Uncovering the Him Presidices Shapes, what we see, think and do.

When I'm talking about bias, for the most part I'm talking about unconscious bias,

and it can be defined as the beliefs and the feelings that we have about social groups that can influence our decision making and our actions,

even when we're not aware of it.

The message is weak and simple. Don't confuse being in the room with being able to make decisions once you're in the room.

There are a lot of people fighting to be in spaces that will never allow them to make any decisions.

That will never allow them to be seen and heard is anything other than props.
