We're going to talk about humility. It seems to be something that is in somewhat short supply, at least in our political environment. And there's an axiom that you kind of have two choices in life. You can be humble or you can be humbled. This was such an important concept.

The Greeks actually had their own name for it,

the thing that happened for people who were in public life that became,

I don't know, we say it buying your own press or believing your own press,

buying your own hype.

Hubris is the word.

Hubris is the fatal pride of someone who buys their own hype.

And right now, we're watching our administration that is in power with all of the benefits that you could want.

They have the House, the Senate, they may not be massive majorities, but they have them. And they're doing these unforced errors. And I wonder if it's just because there's too

many people that are in the circle that are refusing to give anybody some bad news.

Got an interesting insight coming from 2018 in the middle of the first Trump administration
