Welcome to a time of authentic peace and rest i'm james see what

jesus offers peace and it's not like the peace the world gives it's true lasting peace

it's real renewing rest It's true lasting peace.

It's real, renewing rest.

Isn't that what you want?

What your soul longs to be filled with.

So tonight, we're going to practice abiding in the peace Jesus gives tonight you can stop pretending everything is fine you can stop trying to earn anyone's love or respect you can admit

all the things you need all the ways you feel empty, and you can be sure

that in Jesus you are given everything you need.

Before we begin, take a moment to be real with Jesus. Take off any masks you're wearing. Tell Jesus that you're

here and you're ready to be honest. Admit to him that you need him and tell him that you're ready

to receive his love.

Take a deep breath.

Isn't it good to let down your guard

and know that you are safe here with Jesus?

In this safe place you can truly rest.

So get comfortable.

Make sure your blankets are just right adjust your pillows and your lights

and attend to your breath
