I like to start with something funny and I heard about this lady. She just got out of choir practice. She was so fired up, she put a honk if you love Jesus bumper sticker on her car.

0:48.0

At the intersection, she was digging in her purse and didn't notice that the light changed. She said, I was so excited to find out the guy behind me loved Jesus.

He started honking so I rolled my window down, wave real big, told him I love Jesus too. She said, I found out a whole lot of people love Jesus.

Here we go. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the Word of God. I boldly confess. My mind is alert. My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus name. God bless you.

I want to talk to you today about be comfortable not knowing. We all face situations where we don't see how they are going to work out. We look at the facts, the figures, the reports, the odds are against us.

We do our best to come up with a plan to find some kind of solution. We think we have to have the answer or it is not going to happen.

2:08.0

But there are some things God doesn't want us to know. He has the solution but if he showed you right now it wouldn't take any faith.

2:18.0

If you could see how your child is going to turn out, the door is going to open for you, the favor, the provision, the healing, it would be easy to believe.

2:29.0

The test comes when we don't know the answer, when we don't see how it's going to happen. Thoughts tell us how are you going to make it after you retire?

2:39.0

What if you don't get that scholarship? What if your health doesn't improve? The problem is sometimes there is no logical solution.

2:49.0

The more we try to reason it out, the more discouraged we get. Thinking what am I going to do?

2:55.0

But this is what faith is all about. You have to be comfortable not knowing. You don't have to figure it out? You don't have to come up with the plan.

3:05.0

It's okay not to know. When Moses led the two million Israelites out of slavery into the desert, they were headed toward the promised land.

3:16.0

Very excited. God had just brought them out of years of captivity. I can imagine someone asking Moses, where are we going to camp in the desert?

3:26.0

Moses said, I don't know. Where are we going to get food? I don't know. Where is the water supply? I don't know.

3:34.0

Moses, what route are we going to take? I don't know. They could have thought Moses, what kind of leader are you?

3:41.0

But just because you don't know doesn't mean God doesn't have a plan. Moses was comfortable not knowing.
